Barry Esterhuizen

Barry founded EST in 2013 with the aim of simplifying accountancy and helping businesses understand how technology can maximise profitability, value and efficiency. He was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, but now calls South Wales home, mainly because the weather is so much better. He went to Cardiff University before working in audit departments of national firms as well as regional practices. In short, he’s been around. Barry is an award-winning accountant (and terribly modest with it); in 2010 he achieved chartered status with the ACCA, winning the Sir Julian Hodge prize as the highest scoring finalist in Wales, and he qualified as a chartered tax adviser in 2012. When not serving EST clients with a smile (and possibly on a hoverboard), Barry spends time with his young family.
